Marketing & Communications Intern — Dance/Performing Arts

Aru Dell’Arte Dance Company is seeking a creative and motivated Marketing & Communications Intern to support the company’s 2026–2027 season.

This internship is designed for a student, recent graduate, emerging arts administrator, or early-career creative interested in gaining hands-on experience in arts marketing, communications, social media, audience development, and nonprofit performing arts.

The intern will work directly with Aru Dell’Arte’s Artistic Director and gain practical experience supporting the marketing of professional dance productions, performances, community programs, auditions, and company initiatives.

Areas of experience may include:

Creating and organizing promotional materials
Event and performance promotion
Community calendar and event-listing submissions
Email marketing and audience communications
Researching press, community, and promotional opportunities
Supporting artist and company storytelling
Basic Canva/design work, depending on experience and interest
Marketing strategy and audience-development research
We are particularly interested in applicants who enjoy dance, performing arts, digital media, communications, marketing, or nonprofit arts administration.

The internship can be structured around the selected candidate’s interests and professional-development goals. Interns will have opportunities to build portfolio-ready work and gain experience working directly with a professional dance company.
