The Howard County Arts Council, a multi-purpose non-profit arts agency, seeks a self-directed, outgoing individual for an entry to mid-level Visitor & Facilities Services position in a small, fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: scheduling, contracting, recording payments in Salesforce, and monitoring activity for art center rentals; monitoring resident studio program including lease compliance, tracking artist attendance, recording lease payments, and submitting facility maintenance requests; coordinating and monitoring building usage, activity, and appearance; responding to public requests and inquiries; maintaining HCAC building calendar; organizing classrooms; set-up for events and rental groups; basic reception and answering phones; coordinating a small team of part-time building attendants; and administrative support for Arts Council staff.

Bachelor’s Degree and/or previous arts administration or scheduling experience required. Must possess strong customer service skills. Must be able to use a personal computer and be proficient in Microsoft Office and/or similar applications. Facility and scheduling experience strongly preferred; Salesforce and Adobe Creative Suite experience desired. Must have own transportation; be able to operate an automobile, computers, and related office equipment; regularly lift up to 50 pounds; remain seated or standing for long periods of time; and bend, stoop, reach, and climb without difficulty.
