Position Summary
As Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in the success of our earned and contributed revenue that supports artistic excellence and service deliverables. The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and executing multi-channel marketing strategies aimed at increasing traffic, sales, and brand awareness that align with the organization’s overall goals. The Marketing Manager will be solely responsible for all MET-related campaigns and promotions and work closely with the Co-Managing Director (Development & Engagement) to develop and manage the marketing budget, marketing calendar, etc. The Marketing Manager will also collaborate consistently with other departments to meet goals.

Roles and Responsibilities

Develop and implement marketing/brand strategies and best practices;
Evaluate, maintain & report on current marketing methods and trends utilizing Google Analytics and Meta reports, etc;
Manage MET’s Google Ad Grant;
Create and oversee the annual marketing budget;
Create and adhere to an annual marketing calendar for all events, digital, print, and other activities, and determine placement of ads;
With the Graphic Designer, determine ad/graphics schedule to ensure timely delivery according to due dates and support design development to ensure brand cohesion;
Monitor, make updates, and create content for MET website and social media platforms, with a focus on responsiveness, recognition, and continual growth;
Provide Public Relations for all productions/programs including drafting and sending press releases, managing press night, and booking critics, etc;
Prospect, negotiate, and contract with media partners;
Generate and print show playbills based on established design;
Create and send weekly e-newsletter and targeted email campaigns;
Submit all events into local calendars/ on social media;
Coordinate with the Co-MD Prod/Ops to arrange photo shoots of MET classes, productions, etc.;
Uploads press photos to the website/ tourism site for each production and all other production photos to the Google Drive;
Conduct person-to-person engagement at events;
and other duties as assigned.

Desired Credentials
Degree in Marketing, Communications, Writing or commensurate experience preferred.
Seeking a self-starter with excellent writing skills, creativity, cooperative  and collaborative spirit. Excellence in efficient time management and ability to thrive with reasonable autonomy. Passion for the arts and education is necessary. Required skills include basic video editing and graphic design as well as utilization of WordPress, InDesign, Canva, Constant Contact, Meta, LinkedIn, Google Analytics/ Ad Manager, Google Office Suite.

Compensation and Benefits
The Marketing Manager is a Full-Time, Salaried position compensated at a rate of $40,000 – 42,000 annually. Default schedule is Monday – Friday, 9-5 or 10-6. However, hybrid work location and reasonable flex-time are permitted as evening and/or weekend hours will be required.
After 90 days of employment, employees are entitled to generous leave with supervisor approval;
