Front of House Manager – Montgomery College Summer Dinner Theatre (May, June, & July 2023)

Since 1977, MC’s Summer Dinner Theatre (SDT) has brought two great musicals to the Rockville campus every summer. This year, audiences can look forward to The Prom in June and Something Rotten! in July.

The Front of House Manager will plan and oversee food and beverage service at SDT performances from May through July 2023.

From May through June 16 the Front of House Manager can expect to work 10-20 hours a week (schedule is largely flexible) hiring, training, and scheduling student hosts, monitoring and communicating ticket sales to the caterer, and overseeing preparation and decoration of the dining and buffet spaces.

The Front of House Manager will supervise preparation, seating, and clean-up for performances on:

Friday, June 16 and Saturday, June 17

Friday, June 23, Saturday, June 24, Sunday, June 25

 

Friday, July 21, Saturday, July 22

Friday, July 28, Saturday, July 29, Sunday, July 30

Fridays and Saturdays, from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Sundays, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

* Restaurant and/or catering management experience preferred but not required. Salary commensurate with experience.
