Spring 2023 Registration Coming Soon
Utilizing the Maryland Creative Process Maps as a foundational framework, we will create a brave space for courageous conversations and reflection to build towards individualized action plans for racial justice. Participants must commit to attending all sessions. Limited spaces are available!!
This course is tailored for participants who previously participated in MAIRJ or have comparable learning experiences about racial justice. Conversation topics will include white supremacy culture, white fragility, racialized current events, and decolonizing arts spaces.
All dates are Thursday evenings from 5 – 6PM.

As the arts sector moves toward Racial Equity, it is necessary to examine and reconcile the past, understand the present, and create change for the future. The Maryland Arts Institute of Racial Justice provides professional learning for arts organizations, independent artists, arts educators and supervisors, and arts advocates. Registration is FREE.
